Dear Professor Vlatco Vedral,

It was a great pleasure to hear you last night and be informed of the strangeness of the quantum world.

I was intrigued to see that quantum physicists are now saying that our world is constructed entirely of information and not energy. But do they have any idea of the source of that information?

In case this is still a mystery I would like to hear your comments on a contribution that came as spin-off from a solution to a problem in cosmology.

I hope you will have the patience to bear with me since some detail is needed before the connection to information can be made.

In 1984 to 1987 I discovered logical flaws in the Big Bang theory that purports to explain creation of the universe. In consequence it gives a hopelessly false figure for the rate of expansion of the universe 10^120 times too high!
My solution was peer reviewed and published in the Spring/Summer edition 1997 of the then new scientific journal 'Frontier Perspectives' pp.70-78. This was inadvertently missed from the contents list so nobody reads it, but it is there.

Briefly several tens of billions of years before any big bang a few real particles made of both positive and negative energies began to collide. This kind of negative energy is defined by reversal of the forces of action and reaction of Newton's third law, so negative kinds carry negative momentum - opposite to their velocity. The result is that when only two opposites collide, the need to conserve momentum forces both to gain energy of their own kind from the void of zero energy. The rate of energy creation is huge 10^42 times too high! However, momentum forces mutual annihilation during large-number collisions from all possible directions. So the mix both creates and annihilates. Filaments of annihilation appear surrounded by a self-creating gaseous phase.

At a critical density there is no net creation. However, this is a state that can never arise since both phases hardly couple with each other in transmitting bulk momentum to each other. So each is accelerated almost entirely by pressure differentials of their own phase. This drops density and pressure below the critical and so causes a net creation to occur.

The end result is the prediction of a slowly but inertially confined expansion of about the measured value. But this means a slowly accelerating expansion that was actually predicted in 1992 and first published by the 'Russian Academy of Science and Arts' in 1994.

The acceleration was not mentioned in all cases since everybody considered deceleration to be happening and this would have caused the papers to be rejected.

However, this solution had predicted the acceleration that was discovered in 1998 and put down to 'Dark Energy' with anti-gravity type forces of repulsion.

But what is the use of such speculation when the 'Problem of the Cosmological Constant' 10^120 times too high, remains unresolved and dwarfs to insignificance anything their Dark Energy could do?

NOW FOR THE SOURCE OF INFORMATION

The filaments of annihilation, together with blob-like shapes, form a complex structure of finer grain than even an electron that, being supplied constantly with a huge flux of energy, satisfy the chaos mathematicians criteria for self-organisation. So it self-organises to form a huge memory bank extending throughout all space and can provide information.

It is this information that it uses to create a set of parallel universes. Earth resides in one of these. So it was this information that resulted in creation of matter. For this reason the 1997 article was entitled, 'Consciousness as a Sub-Quantum Phenomenon'.
Later a friend Rory Macquisten christened the approach the 'BigBreed Theory'.

If you cannot fault the logic and wish to help in any way to communicate this message I will be very grateful.

I would appreciate it if you consider the efforts being made at present to discover clues about the nature of Dark Energy by the use of five satellites looking at the CMB. Can they hope to discover anything useful this way?

They say it constitutes 69% of all energy in the universe. To me this betrays the mindset that considers everything to have the same nature. From the Big Breed Theory viewpoint, however, only the sub-quantum reality is built from real energy and so constitutes 100% of everything.

All the rest is virtual reality - made of information!

And this fits in with your idea of matter being made from information: not energy.

Nobody who has read this work has found any valid objection to the logic.

Most detractors point to the gap that cannot yet be filled - how the structure actually creates that information.
